A mailing list to talk about BehmorThing and the Behmor 1600 Coffee Roaster. It's my list and I don't suffer spam or personal attacks lightly.
I've no clue if it will end up being useful, but as far as I can tell, there is no other Behmor specific list. Though now after it's first bit of life I can say that it meanders between usefull, brilliant, booring, meaningless and helpful. It's not a busy list, so you'll only get a few extra emails a week except when it's a few a day. I really like email lists because the information comes to me and I can reead it at my leisure. I'd suggest filtering the list into it's own folder so you only need to look at it when you have extra time. And if you just don't like it, just come back here and remove yourself.
Mailing lists are sort of old fashioned. There are no pictures or menus or anything like tht. You send a message to the list and everyone on the list gets a copy. So, don't send anything you wouldn't be willing to post in public on Facebook. Does that make any sense? I think it does, but I've never been on Facebook, never Tweeted and I don't IM. But a mailing list at its best is be much like a small community of friends where there is always a shoulder to cry on, a neighbor to help with the clogged drain and someone interested in hearing about your latest discovery. So I welcome you if that sounds interesting and if not, there's lots of coffee roasting forums to use up your time on.
